10 Alternatives to the Price of Hamilton Resale Tickets

Hamilton the Musical tickets--especially for the next two weeks while Lin Manuel Miranda, Phillipa Soo, and Leslie Odom Jr. are on their final show run--are over $1200. (Teach us how to say goodbye.)

The retail price for tickets range from $85 to $300 and up to $849 for premium. But the final performance day of Miranda, Odom and Soo—July 9—have resale tickets reaching from a few thousand to over $12,000!

Even though I am really, really tempted to just empty my savings account and present the money for tickets like:

50 Ultimate Summer Songs

Summer is officially here.

In the words of one lovable, huggable snowman named Olaf, "Bees'll buzz, kids will blow dandelion fuzz..." and I'll be laying outside, soaking up the rays, or enjoying a barbecued dinner out on the deck.

Whether at the beach or in my backyard, nothing beats having some summer songs to enhance the feeling of summertime.

Here is my personal ultimate summer list (in no particular order) of 50 songs from a wide range of years that make me want to roll the windows down and sing at the top of my lungs whilst enjoying the summer breeze.

May Favorites 2016 ♥

Hello everyone!

I decided to start doing a monthly favorites video. If you have not seen these on YouTube or blogs before, it is basically where the creator collects the items that they have used and loved in the previous month and share it with the viewers/readers.

The Happy and the Sad

If you are a subscriber or follower of my YouTube page, you may have seen that I posted a video last week discussing the emotions that I am still experiencing from the end of a relationship. If you are watching closely, you would notice that the video is now gone.

As I stated in the video, I did not know if I was going to put the video up. And when I did, I was flooded with emotions. I was anxious, scared, sad, happy and relieved all at the same time.

Anxiety overcame my senses, knowing that my video was not a happy moment. I was nervous of what would come of the video. And then there are the people in the world who normally are too quick to judge, immature, or malicious to strangers for no reason.

There is no secret that I love Disney. None. Therefore, when it came to walking across a stage last year with a giant, black square on my head begging to be decorated, the opportunity to have a magical cap arose.

Finding an idea for the perfect graduation cap to express myself and my love of Disney was a challenging task. I gathered some of my favorite cap ideas and found a mix of magic! (I am sharing these as embedded links so you can tell those who posted these how gorgeous they are.)

Here are 50 graduation cap ideas to help you stand out at your ceremony with the most magical cap of them all.

In one of my recent videos, I show what I got while I was living in Florida and working at Walt Disney World in Fall 2015.

I also figured that I could post the pictures and links (if still available as of May 2016) in a post. These will be links to the Disney Store website, Amazon, etc. I’m sure you can find others on eBay or other re-selling sites.

If you want to hear more about the item and/or my reviews on it, make sure to watch the video. Also, a few items in the video are cast member exclusive so they will not be added below.

Semester Summary

Last year at this time, I did not think that the next year I would be swimming in the stresses and woes of finals week. However, I am swimming so deep in the ocean that the lifeguards have given up blowing their whistles and screaming for me to swim back to shore.
Some background information: needing only one class left for my Business Administration degree, and initially wanting to take it over the summer but plans falling through, I decided I would be taking this economics online class in the fall. I walked across the commencement stage last spring with a decorated graduation cap and it was not all I anticipated graduation would be. I walked the night before the real undergrad ceremony as I am part of College of Continuing Studies, as they are more flexible with classes and my constant Disney World employments have called for just that.

My First Time

I feel like a very good way to introduce myself to you is to tell you about my first time. After all, this is my first time making a blog post. I know what you’re thinking–if you don’t know where I’m going with this–wow, diving right into the dirty so fast? Not exactly.

The YouTube “My First Time” tag seems like a good way to introduce any of you reading these words to who I am. First, the basics that these questions won’t answer: my name is Alexa, I am 22 as I write this post, and I simply want to share my life, my experiences, and my days with the world. I started posting on YouTube in 2014 on a separate channel, which I am sure we will get into discussing. As of Fall 2015, I am now on YouTube as SimplyAlexaSimone, and simply sharing videos with the world. But sometimes, as I film, I find that I cannot capture everything I wanted to say. Therefore, a blog.

What’s after the vlog and a blog? I don’t know. I have a dog…two actually. And I hate to jog though I probably should more. I’m sure within five years there will be another type of sharing experiences that ends in “log” but for now, I will focus on the two that actually exist… and I will stop rhyming.

Back on topic, this is the “My First Time” tag with questions by Louise at Sprinkle of Glitter and Zoe at Zoella.

My first time...
