Star Wars Day Planner Freebie

Happy May! In addition to the first week having Cinco de Mayo, we also have a very special Star Wars Celebration! May the Fourth (Force) Be With You this Friday with this Star Wars themed Planner Sheet! And don't forget to watch out for the Revenge of the Fifth (Sith).

Happy (almost) Star Wars Day!

April Planner Freebie

Happy April! It's usually overused, but I'm a sucker for "April Showers Bring May Flowers." This mantra is the only reason I get through overcast, rainy days when I'm sooo ready for summer. Here's this month's Planner Freebie!

March for Our Lives: Photos

This past Saturday, March 24, 2018, I attended the March for Our Lives in Washington, D.C. I wanted to share the photos I captured that day while also documenting my experience.

My father works in Maryland, right near D.C., for a few more months. Our family was planning to visit that weekend as it was. When we found out that the march was that day, my mother, sister and I thought about attending. I won't lie; I was worried. A march about the need to regulate guns (not take away, regulate). What if some crazy person with a gun attended?

But then I thought how much I would regret not going. I've seen marches and movements in history books and I knew this was going to be a very important moment in history that I supported.

March for Our Lives: Sign Ideas

Tomorrow, March 24, 2018 is a day that will go down in history. I guarantee this day will be in textbooks and taught in history classes. My hope is that those textbooks will still not be taught as a defense to shield students from bullets.

I will be attending the March for Our Lives in Washington, D.C. Many cannot make it to the main center stage march, but there are so many marches that anyone can attend. According to the March for Our Lives Website, there are 842 events worldwide. There is a march in every state in America. Here is a map showing, just in the United States, how many marches are planned. You can sign up for one near you here.

The main website has so many resources and pages of information to provide about the march. And as you prepare, you might want to make a sign to have your voice heard through photographs or above the hundreds or thousands of voices surrounding you.

I've been conflicted about what to put on my sign. So I wanted to make a post of options I have been considering or I've seen as a one-stop assistance to those still looking for the perfect words.

March Planner Freebie

Happy March, luckies! I'm back from my vacation and I took plenty of pictures to share once I get my life together. But, for now, I was able to get a March Planner Freebie up before the month ends!

I missed St. Patrick's Day... but today is the first day of Spring! I wouldn't know it if the calendar didn't tell me so as my phone keeps getting Winter Weather Warning alerts. Sigh.

Day 5 - Part 2 - Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom

In September 2016, I went to visit my past Disney Roommate, Claudia! She still lives in Florida (lucky ducky!) Wow... it's now February 2018 and I'm finally posting the last video to my blog. Gurl, Alexa, please... get your stuff together!

On Day 6, Claudia met up with me in the evening for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! I was so pumped to go. We decided to go as Anastasia and Drizella from Cinderella. I had these two skater dresses (the pink and teal) already from a sale. The fabric was bought and my mom (bless her) added removable sleeves and an elastic top to the skirts to hold them. We pinned the skater dresses and viola: Anastasia and Drizella!
