Must-Watch TV Holiday Celebrations: Blogmas Day 4

One of the many things that gets me into the holiday spirit is watching Christmas specials and movies on TV. This year, there are a few new favorites to mark the calendar for while also remembering the classics.

Here are my must-watch holiday celebrations in date order:

December 5th: "The Great Christmas Light Fight" on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
I love Christmas lights and decorating so this show is always a blast to watch! It will be on every Monday until Christmas!

December 12th: "Greatest Holiday Commercials: Countdown 2016" on CW at 9 p.m. ET.
Normally, I would stray from commercials but during the holidays, the extra Christmas music and visuals just seem appropriate to help the spirit. This is definitely one on my calendar.

December 13th: "Rock the Troops" on Spike at 9 p.m. ET.
The Rock will be hosting a holiday show with comedy and musical performances while paying tribute to veterans and their families.

December 14th: "A Pentatonix Christmas Special" on NBC at 9 p.m. ET.
The amazing a cappella group that now has a third Christmas album out and will be performing selections among other celebrity guess.

December 15th: "iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2016" on CW at 8 p.m. ET.
Many popular performers are rocking Madison Square Garden!

December 16th: "The 85th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade" on CW at 8 p.m. ET.
Featuring Olivia Newton-John as the grand marshal.

December 17th: "I Want a Dog for Christmas: Charlie Brown!" on ABC at 8 p.m ET.
Who doesn't love Charlie Brown holiday specials?

December 19th: "America's Got Talent" on NBC at 8 p.m. ET.
A two-hour special with many performances including 2016 season favorites.
December 25th: "The Disney Parks' Magical Christmas Celebration" on ABC from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m ET.
The Disney Parks will host magical characters and celebrations as we celebrate Christmas Day!

December 25th: "Doctor Who: The Return of Doctor Mysterio" on BBC America (Time: TBA).
With each year having a special madman in a box helping to celebrate Christmas, 2016 is no exception!

If that isn't enough Christmas specials for you, be sure to check out the schedule for ABC's FreeForm channel for 25 Days of Christmas! Classic Christmas favorites like Elf, The Polar Express, The classics of Rudolph, Frosty, and Santa Claus, The Santa Claus, The Holiday, The Nightmare before Christmas, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, and more are all scheduled for these 25 days!

I hope this helps you find some Christmas programming to have on while you decorate the tree, are baking, or while you are curled up with some hot chocolate!

Thanks for reading! Happy holidays!
